[It’s been a long few days since the Kin’corrans went “home”; Mia doesn’t remember most of them. Since the 31st she’s been, for the most part, sound asleep in the battledome clinic, trying to recover from…well, everything. Dealing with the fire didn’t help, leaving her spent and dehydrated and coughing. The time she’s spent awake, though, convinced her that things in the village were getting back to normal.
So her first mission of the day, after waking and sorting herself out, is to find something to do that will alleviate this boredom and, just perhaps, help make her case for just going home to lie about there instead.]
I know it has been very difficult and busy in the village just recently. Given the date, it will only stay busy. If it is at all possible, though, I would ask a small favor: would anyone be willing to bring a few books from the library to the battle dome clinic? I promise to return them at the first opportunity. …Once I’m done with them, that is.
While I am thinking about it…well, I would not mind a little company either. I want to hear that everyone is all right.
[Missing out on more than a day always leaves her too disoriented for her liking.]
[[ooc:We interrupt the delicious intro train to bring you If you work in the clinic and would like to have that argument about going home, step right up! She's a patient woman.]]

[Since he's never really had much of a reason to go in there and heck if he knows what sort of books to get. Plus if she is there that covers the company side of things, too.]
[Voice]
[He's about to be upset about it, isn't he.]
[Voice]
Okay- Wait, why are you there? I mean, I know you're good at healing magic and first aid stuff but...
[Voice]
Why am I here? ...That is a good question. I would like to go back to the house.
[Voice]
Why don't I help you back to your house then? You know, instead of me bringing some books over. [Screw recovery periods and medical procedure.] I'll come get you now.
[Voice]
[What kind of a healer would she be if she just up and snuck out without permission?]
[Voice]
But if you want to go back home then you should, then you could rest there. [...] If you're set on staying then you should at least tell me what books I should grab before I come visit.
[Voice]
[Voice]
[First you want books and you're asking why you're there and then you don't want to leave and you don't want books and you just want to talk. WELL OKAY. Caius scratches the back of his head whilst he thinks of something to say.]
... Should I come over there and talk with you in person?
[Even though they're already talking. Right now.]
[Voice]
Please! I would love that.
[Chance to make sure nothing bad happened to him in person: check.]
[Voice>Action]
[And true to his word it isn't long before Caius shows up at the dome.
It's very easy to notice that he's not 100% himself, given the bruises and scrapes he has all over, including one very nice looking black eye. What's more the usual necklace he has around his neck with the red gem on is missing.
Knock knock Mia, you have a visitor.]
[Action]
[...
Caius.]
What happened? Come sit down.
[All of her worry in one fell swoop. She's just sitting there in bed with her glass of water and looking concerned. That black eye!]
[Action]
It's nothing, I'm fine. Just ran into some idiots the other day. [Some idiot refugees that beat the snot out of him. And took his pensient.] What about you, sitting in bed like that! What happened to you?
[Action]
I was just exhausted. I'm much better now, really.
[Come sit down or she will get up and make you. She's not confined to that bed, just to the clinic in general.]
[Action]
Sure, you say you're much better but you're here resting up anyway.
[There, he's sitting. Now stop worrying.]
[Action]
[She's trying to remember if Caius can see Psynergy or not. Hmm. There are always other options.]
[Action]
Like I'm not going to worry. If you need to ask one of the guys here if you can leave then I can tell them you want to go home for you.
[Watch out, he has first aid lessons under his belt. He knows when people are fit and ready to leave the clinic okay!]
[Action]
There's no reason to interrupt anyone, as long as I'm not taking up space that we need for someone else.
[That, he would notice. Hum. Her second solution is to ask Fizz to fix him up for her. That he will see, as a watery spray of blue light, before he feels it.]
[Action]
You're not taking up space if you need to rest- [What are you doing stop that. That really isn't resting, is it? Stupid blue light.] Maybe you are just taking up space if you're trying to heal me when you're meant to be resting up.
[Action]
[Action]
That thing can heal people too? [Leaning in to take a closer look now!] I didn't know you had a pet.
[Action]
[Explaining how they work has never been her strong point. Fizz disappears.]
Helping with healing is what he does best, so I asked him if he wouldn't mind.
[Action]
If you have something like that with you then why didn't you ask your Djinni to take care of you? [...] And you didn't have to ask him for anything, I said I was fine when I first came in.
[Action]
[The rest of that, Caius? Please. Of course she had to ask.]
[Action]
Better than you? [Could he heal up gunshot wounds huh?!] Wait, I still don't know how you ended up here in the first place. I asked why you were here before and you just said you wanted to go home.
