[Mia is moving houses today! Well, apartment-to-house. After being invited to live with Rogue, Kurt, and their friends, the prospect of not being so lonely at the end of the day sounded wonderful. Of course she said yes.

She spent the past day or two packing up - she doesn't have much - and now will carry boxes from her apartment to the house. It's slow going but she doesn't mind the work; besides, Rogue implied that her new roommates would help out!

As she carries a particularly heavy box along the road, there's a flash of blue, and something that leaves a visible blue streak zooms away from her, off into the village. She can't exactly drop the box and chase after him...but oh, does she want to. The minute she reaches the house she opens her journal and starts writing.]

If anyone sees a blue creature that looks like this

could you let me know? He is very...mischievous. His name is Serac. Be careful! He may attack you with ice if you try to catch him.

[Mia sits on the edge of the mattress and regards him quietly.]

I'm very sorry Kurt, but I...I'm confused.

[He just shakes his head. Oh Mia...]

Nevermind. You don't have to do anymore than the rest of us do. So don't worry about that.

All right. Thank you. [And, since she thinks she has a handle on his moving plans,] Are you sure you'll be able to take these boxes with you?

Oh, totally. [He flexes for her benefit, okay.] This isn't all for show.

Your muscles affect how well you can warp?

[Beat. ...Another beat.

And Mia grins.]

I'm not dense, Kurt.

[.............]

[And then he starts laughing.]

... okay, okay. You got me. Finally.

[Mia's giggling too. There aren't too many people she feels comfortable teasing with.]

I do appreciate your help.

[Clearly he's created a monster.]

Yeah, I know. [Don't talk like that! He'll get a big head.]

Stand back, I'm off!

[BAMF.]

[She will still be giggling quietly when he comes back.]

[He returns about half a minute later.]

Whew, there was more in those boxes than I thought.

Was there? I'm sorry, I've never had to pack and move before.

[He flops back onto the bed for a second.]

Well, usually Step 1 is calling a moving service.

We don't have...something like that here, I think.

Well, by the time you're done, you'll be so experienced you can open one! The Mia and Co. Moving Service!

I can carry only one box at a time! That isn't very effective.

Which means you'll just have to work at that!

I can't make my arms any longer!

Then you just need to work out! Build those arm muscles, Mia! Maybe we should make you start doing Danger Room work outs.

Then in exchange, perhaps you ought to start studying medicine.
