[There's a chill in the air and a smile on Mia's face as she gets herself ready for the day. For once, she isn't headed straight to work at the crack of wintry dawn; instead, she bundles up and puts a set of skates into her shoulder bag. Before she ducks out the door, she flips her journal open to leave the world a message.]

As Captain Sparrow has so generously provided a skating area in the village to use, I will be there this afternoon if anyone would like to learn how to skate. The weather is perfect for it today. [There's a break in the clouds - for a while - and a peek at the sun they haven't seen in days.] It's only a little tricky to learn, but I'm sure anyone can get the hang of it with a little practice.

[And off she goes! The morning is for Caius and Seto - one after the other - since she did promise them individually and neither is quite the type to learn while others are watching.]

That's pretty generous of you, Mia. [And from the way she sounds, Pepper's definitely thinking about it.] Have you had a lot of people sign up so far?

Three or four. I didn't intend to do it on a regular basis, just to show a few people if they wanted to be able to try. [With the rate at which you lot get injured she can't take too many days off of work!]

Right. Enough to get people started. [Which actually sounds pretty perfect, so after a moment's pause, she speaks up again.] Do you have time for another? If not, that's fine. But it sounds like fun.

I probably should. You will need to get your own skates, though.

Oh, of course. Would they show up in the Item Shop? [It seems the most likely, since it’s not strictly an article of clothing.]

Thank you, Mia. Provided I can find skates--[Which Pepper is already getting ready to leave the house to do]--when would be good to meet?

Maybe an hour or so before dinnertime? [Which...is different for everyone.] Five, or close to it?

That sounds perfect.

[In truth Pepper's schedule is pretty flexible at the moment, since Tony's still with Howard. So as long as that time works for Mia, she's good with it.]
