[It’s been a long few days since the Kin’corrans went “home”; Mia doesn’t remember most of them. Since the 31st she’s been, for the most part, sound asleep in the battledome clinic, trying to recover from…well, everything. Dealing with the fire didn’t help, leaving her spent and dehydrated and coughing. The time she’s spent awake, though, convinced her that things in the village were getting back to normal.

So her first mission of the day, after waking and sorting herself out, is to find something to do that will alleviate this boredom and, just perhaps, help make her case for just going home to lie about there instead.]

I know it has been very difficult and busy in the village just recently. Given the date, it will only stay busy. If it is at all possible, though, I would ask a small favor: would anyone be willing to bring a few books from the library to the battle dome clinic? I promise to return them at the first opportunity. …Once I’m done with them, that is.

While I am thinking about it…well, I would not mind a little company either. I want to hear that everyone is all right.

So it's you here, then, and not the you I am talking to using your journal.

It truly is a complex ability. On the journal I am using a shadow to speak, but it is still me saying it and speaking through it. That way I can be in two places at once.

[But anyway, he'll try to hand her the books. He has two. One is Disney's Aladdin for a nice tale of magic and romance that is simple, but interesting. One is a play from his world called "Madrigal of the White Magnolia". And for ooc info on that, there's a video of it here. It's basically a story from his world about a princess and two brave knights who stopped a revolt. And Mia should definitely ask more about it since it's fun to hear the story of how Joshua played the princess.]

I'm not familiar with either of these. Have you read them?

I've read both. The story of Aladdin is one I found when looking through the books for a good children's story. I still enjoyed it even if it is a children's tale. Madrigal of the White Magnolia is a favorite of both myself and Joshua. He played Princess Cecilia in a performance.

[Enjoy that thought, Joshua makes for a very believable female, after all.]

Did he? You know, when I read it now I will be unable to picture anything else.

He did. The Royal Academy did a reverse casting where the men played female roles and the women played male roles. But put him in a wig and a dress and one would be hard pressed to know he is indeed male.

I don't know if he would like to hear you say that.

He already has heard it from me. Isn't it normal for siblings to tease each other?

[Of course, there is the weird fact that Joshua and Leonhardt seriously look nothing alike. They aren't related by blood, but Leonhardt still raised Joshua and has known the boy since he was born.]

I suppose it is. Jenna certainly teased her brother enough. Did you also play a woman?

How did you escape your brother's unfortunate fate?

The Royal Academy made a request of the Bracer Guild which he is a part of and I am not. The Bracers are much like Brave Vesperia here, and the Royal Army which I'm a part of is like the Blue Rogues.

I have heard people talking about performing plays here more regularly. Actually...I have never seen one before. Would this one be possible?

[Could you convince Joshua to dress like a girl again? Even the idea of a reverse-roles play could be interesting.]

[And with how there are more men in Luceti, reverse roles could help fill female roles. But Leonhardt considers it a moment if they could do it. Most of the sets were simple enough, but the effect at the end with the goddess would be hard. But with the magical talents here, it would be possible and he and Joshua can advise on that.]

It may be even easier to find actors here because it does require two skilled fighters and that was why the Royal Academy sought Bracers.

The people here are more fighters than not, aren't they? I've met very few who do not use weapons in some way.

They truly are, and some are very skilled as well. I was definitely impressed with the level of talent I saw on the missions and drafts I've been on.

Then I don't think you would have a problem finding some for a performance. Even if that is not what ends up happening, I think we could all use something a little less serious.

As long as they are capable of acting. There are definitely lines to memorize.

They would have to want to act in it, certainly. There is a group for this sort of thing, isn't there?
