[Mia's enthusiasm is simple and direct.]

It's snowing!

[something she hasn't seen since that brief detour to the southern tip of the world. It makes her miss home like nothing else. That won't stop her from throwing on her heavier cloak and standing outside in the light snowfall, hands extended as if to catch the flakes.]

It's really snowing! I wonder if it will stay.

Hopefully we won't have a blizzard for another couple of weeks. This seems more magical, don't you think?

With the way some of the people here think about snow, I really hope we don't have a true blizzard at all.

Guess that depends on what you define as a true blizzard. Is it really bad?

Blizzards are especially a problem for sick or injured people who need help, or anyone on a journey when it happens who can't find shelter.

...on the bright side? I don't think we'll have anything that extreme this year. Blizzards are common where you're from?

Not common, but they are definitely familiar. We tend to have at least two serious storms in the coldest parts of winter.

That doesn't make it much better. That sounds kind of scary...we've never had to deal with a lot of snow before. I don't know how we'd do it.

The same way you seem to do everything here. People help in whatever way they can.

I guess that's true. We've got a good support base here. [She's looking up at the sky again to watch the snow.] I wonder if the boys even realize it's snowing yet.

They will soon. ...You know, as long as you wear warm enough clothing and don't stay out for too long, winter is fun. [In case you tropical island types were unsure about that.]

I'm not too worried. Riku's usually okay with the snow, even if he doesn't like to stay out long. And Sora was here at the tail-end of last winter so he should be fine, too. Besides there's so much you can do with the snow, I can't imagine it getting old. Snowmen and everything...I think we need a little more than this though.
