[Mia is moving houses today! Well, apartment-to-house. After being invited to live with Rogue, Kurt, and their friends, the prospect of not being so lonely at the end of the day sounded wonderful. Of course she said yes.

She spent the past day or two packing up - she doesn't have much - and now will carry boxes from her apartment to the house. It's slow going but she doesn't mind the work; besides, Rogue implied that her new roommates would help out!

As she carries a particularly heavy box along the road, there's a flash of blue, and something that leaves a visible blue streak zooms away from her, off into the village. She can't exactly drop the box and chase after him...but oh, does she want to. The minute she reaches the house she opens her journal and starts writing.]

If anyone sees a blue creature that looks like this

could you let me know? He is very...mischievous. His name is Serac. Be careful! He may attack you with ice if you try to catch him.

That is hard to say. Any of them are capable of creating a large disaster if they so choose. ...Venus Djinn could probably create the most collateral damage, with an earthquake.

Then in exchange, perhaps you ought to start studying medicine.

It will not matter to him whether you want to attack, I have to say. We have formed a partnership, and some of the time he does not even follow me.

He just likes a little mischief.

"Psynergy" to me seems to mean the same thing as "magic" or "power" does to most of the people here. If you want to see it, we should go outside. ...Using the door.

[She laughs.]

Alright. The door. [And Kitty will politely hold the door open for Mia.]

[They'll need to go somewhere a bit away from all the buildings, if only to give her some space. Once there, Mia focuses on the nearest empty area and casts Ice Horn, sending a handful of large ice spikes into the ground.

Adepts and other spiritual-power types see a blue glow; Kitty would have seen nothing, until the ice appeared.]

[Kitty happily follows.

When Mia uses her powers, Kitty is amazed.]

This is way cool! Kinda like Bobby's power, but you so have better control of it.

Ahh, pass. I'm no doctor. I'm pretty sure you need more fingers for that.

[IDK MAN, a girl's gotta train and all that! Pao-Lin sees Serac eventually, but true to her promise, instead of engaging the creature she pulls out her journal to call Mia and tell her about it.]

Hey, uh, Mia? I think I see Serac over here at the Battle Dome...

Guess it's a good thing there aren't any of those running around here. Are they not always this small, then?

Ah I see. Well if I happen across him I will certainly let you know... [ Oh right. He always forgets this part! ]

And I don't believe I gave you my name! Helios, Helios Sprensonne. It's a pleasure to meet you.

[It's a bit of time before Mia hears it, as she's busy unpacking. Eventually, though, her frustrated face backs up this voice.]

[Meanwhile Serac is throwing water at you Pao-Lin are you going to do something about it huh?]

Rogue has mentioned Bobby before. [Mia smiles, all friendliness.] If you really want to see something, you should watch Katara practice. She can move the water and ice anywhere she wants.

Katara? I'll keep an eye out for her then. Is she from your world too?

No, she is from a different one. The two have similarities, though. We have worked together before, when we needed to fight.

...I would show you my healing Psynergy but I really don't want to have to hurt you first. [This girl is friends with Kurt and Rogue, so she must have some kind of sense of humor, right?]

[Welp, Pao-Lin's running to avoid being drenched, that's for sure. She's weaving behind trees to avoid the attacks, but she's not yet ready to bring out the lightning, in case it provokes Serac into becoming Djinnzilla or something.]

That's really cool. I'll have to talk to her then.

Well, we could always just hurt Kurt.

For being him? [She laughs.] And he teleports me all the time. This one time, he an I were both sick, and he was teleporting in his sleep, and he teleported us right into our classroom. It was, like, totally embarrassing!
