[Mia is moving houses today! Well, apartment-to-house. After being invited to live with Rogue, Kurt, and their friends, the prospect of not being so lonely at the end of the day sounded wonderful. Of course she said yes.

She spent the past day or two packing up - she doesn't have much - and now will carry boxes from her apartment to the house. It's slow going but she doesn't mind the work; besides, Rogue implied that her new roommates would help out!

As she carries a particularly heavy box along the road, there's a flash of blue, and something that leaves a visible blue streak zooms away from her, off into the village. She can't exactly drop the box and chase after him...but oh, does she want to. The minute she reaches the house she opens her journal and starts writing.]

If anyone sees a blue creature that looks like this

could you let me know? He is very...mischievous. His name is Serac. Be careful! He may attack you with ice if you try to catch him.

[He flops back onto the bed for a second.]

Well, usually Step 1 is calling a moving service.

Don't eat anything Kitty bakes, never try to take off Scott's glasses, and if Kurt BAMFs behind you it is completely fair to throw things at him.

I haven't met Scott yet. He has trouble seeing?

[Rogue sobered a little and shook her head.]

More like - his power is contained by his glasses. He can't turn his eyes off either.

[Pause a beat.]

He shoots laser beams from his eyes.

[Technically they're not lasers, but close enough.]

It's like being underwater, but not. Besides, it's only through a wall, so just just have to hold it for a single breath.

Well, by the time you're done, you'll be so experienced you can open one! The Mia and Co. Moving Service!

No wonder you lost him. [Keeping track of something so small sure didn't sound like fun to him.] I hope you find him before he manages to cause too much trouble.

Ordinarily no. ...But he had grown accustomed to a life of...things always happening.

[Mia is so, so unsure about this. But she wants her new roommates to like her...and perhaps everyone in the house does this?

With a short nod, Mia lets Kitty take her hand.]

[Kitty smiled at Mia, trying to let her know it would be alright.

Then, she led them right through the wall. It was only a single step, and once they walked through, Kitty turned to Mia.]

That...was not nearly as bad as warping with Kurt was.

No. [Her right hand pokes her left arm, though.] Ah...and I feel solid. [Then, she tilts her head to regard Kitty.]

You have no idea how useful something like that might have been to my friends and me. It is impressive.
